With chemically resistant coatings, you efficiently protect your components from acids, brines and other aggressive media.
Chemical resistance
Fluoropolymers is the umbrella term for fully and partly fluorinated plastics such as PTFE, PFA and many more, They are high-performance plastics that due to their high fluorine content show particularly good chemical resistance to almost all acids, brines and solvents.
The chemically resistant coatings include PTFE, PFA/TFA, FEP, PVDF, ECTFE, ETFE, PCTFE. Fluoropolymers or also fluoroplastics are polymers in which a large part or even all otherwise contained hydrogen is replaced by fluorine. Generally, the following rule applies: the temperature and chemical resistance is the better, the higher the fluorine content.
